We began EMS careers in the Denver Metro area. We both worked as EMT's before attending Paramedic school in Denver. After serving on ambulances in Denver we were both fortunate to return to Colorado Springs and continue to serve as paramedics on the city's fire department.

We have both worked in different EMS systems both on a 9-1-1 ambulance and as paramedics in the fire service.  The majority of both of our careers has been spent responding as paramedics to 9-1-1 scenes.  We have also spent most of our time as paramedics functioning as paramedic preceptors training students and incumbent paramedics.
